My trek to lose weight using VSG surgery as one of the tools to help get me there. Some of it is hard to be open about & show everyone. I have long distance friends that want to follow along with me on my journey to get healthy and this will remind me of where I started when I feel like it's not worth it. Please note I am not giving advice or instruction as I am not trained to do so, only sharing what I did and how I did it.

It Really Really Works!! Down 12 lbs
I had not weighed myself on my scale since I left for the hospital the morning of surgery 1/27/12. I knew they pumped me full of a lot of fluids and there would be swelling from healing. I sucked it up and got on the scale this morning, low and behold I am down 12 lbs :o) There were times that even with the bruising, stitches, pain, and being tired I wondered if he actually did sleeve me and would I really lose weight. (Yeah I know i'm a dork and I'm really working on that self defeating attitude) This bit of info really helps me rebound after my meltdown this morning :o)
